Doing so I am sure you can image, I get all kinds of phone calls everyday from people needing to discuss their situation regarding their home, asking ways to change or get out from their mortgage payment.

The current real estate market here in southwest Florida has seen records of foreclosures and we have lead the Country a couple months this year in foreclosures, as they are filed here in Lee County Florida.  I get a lot of questions and listen to statements from people owning homes here in southwest Florida. Here are a few examples of calls I received the last two days. 

(1) I have tried talking to my Lender, but they are saying there is nothing they will do, other then ask me when will I be making my next mortgage payment? Whats next for me?

(2) I have an adjustable rate mortgage and it went up to where I can no longer afford the payments? What can I do to get them to change it?

(3) I owe more then $150,000 more the what the house is worth. What can I do to get the mortage company to change it so I can afford to keep my home?    

(4) I want my mortgage company to give me loan modification and they told me know they can not do this? Why? 

 I listen to everyone concerns and questions, I always offer up different options or suggestions in talking to their accountant or a real estate attorney maybe even both before making a decision on letting your home go into foreclosure.I help people avoid foreclosure by helping them with a bank approved short sale. I can not speak for the mortgage companies, But I can offer suggestions on where to go from here in your current situation.

Thinking about a Vehicle Wrap? Think outside the Box ! Will they Remember Me?

 

I personally believe Guerrilla Marketing you and your business is all about making a short and to the point statement, getting noticed, leaving a lasting impression. That's the Realtor with the big fish, maybe a dog on his truck ,car or van ? Remember the Super bowl half time ads the last few year's, they try and leave you with one lasting picture to remember?



 I recently received a question from a Realtor on activerain.com about my vehicle wrap? I guess she was in a GRI class and they where discussing vehicle wraps. I understand there was some discussions in regards to not to many Realtors have gone forward with having them done? I told her I knew of a few in my area of southwest Florida that have done them but mostly there name and brand. 
 
I was asked about my thoughts? 

I suggested that she think about what would make a lasting impression in her area?  I truly believe just your name and your brand will not leave a "lasting impression" other then that's the "Realtor" from from  ABC Realty ( I was going to use a name a national franchise,but I didn't want to offend anyone)  Think of it as a move-able Billboard.When I was a Realtor in Michigan I took about a billboard advertising and it cost me back them $1,200.00 per month ! I do not know what it is today, but I am still betting there are not very cost effective. But I would like to hear from other Realtors on this subject.
